Teddy Bear and Sweater

I just got this picture from Clarisse. Her bear turned out adorable, and he looks so warm and cozy with his sweater! Thank you for sharing your picture!  You can find this pattern for free here.

Teddy Bear

I posted a free pattern for a Teddy Bear a little while back, and I wanted to share a really cute picture of haNdgemaakt's teddy bear.  She originally posted this picture on Ravelry here.  Her Teddy Bear turned out so cute, and I love how she embroidered his mouth!  Thank you for sharing!

-Worsted Weight Yarn (I used Peaches & Creme 4 Ply 100% Cotton Yarn)
-Wooden Button
-Sharp Needle to sew the button on
Notes:
-Be sure to crochet over your loose ends as you go along so you won't have as many to weave in when you are finished.

Free Crocheted Pot Holder Pattern

Today, I am going to share my all time FAVORITE hot pad crochet pattern! There are a lot of hot pad patterns out there, and this is my version. I remember making these for my mom when I was in high school. Of course, the pattern has changed a little bit over time. I make this hot pad whenever I am needing some new ones. Enjoy!

Please Note: This hot pad is double layered, so you are sure not to burn your fingers!

Materials Needed:
Worsted Weight 100% acrylic yarn
Size H crochet hook

Abbreviations:

Ch: Chain
Sc: Single Crochet
Sl St: Slip Stitch
Blo: Back Loop Only

Notes:
-Gauge: 8 sts x 8 rows = 2” (5 cm) You can move up or down a crochet hook size if your gauge is not right. For this pattern, though, don't worry too much about gauge.  We aren't making this to fit somebody, so it doesn't have to be perfect.
-Finished Measurement: 8" by 8" (including the little ruffle along the edging)
-sc over your loose ends as you go along so that you won't have to weave t…
