I am so excited to share a really fun and simple video tutorial with you today for Toe Flower Sandals.  I have also included the written pattern.  These are so cute on those sweet little (sometimes dirty :) girly toes!  They don't have a sole, they just loop around your ankle and toe.  These are perfect in the summer for babies who aren't walking yet. They are fun for older kids too, since most kids run around outside without shoes anyway!!  The video and written instructions are below! A magic loop is a really great way to start out your project!!  It won't work for every crochet pattern you are following, but it will if you are starting off working in the round (Rnd).  If you start off working in rows, then you won't use this technique. I like to use a magic loop because you can put as many stitches in the loop as you need to, and then close it up really nice and tight.  Best of all, your magic loop will never come loose!  With most of my hat crochet patterns , you can start off with a magic loop.  I would suggest everyone learn this technique! I have had a few of my customers ask me how to make a pom pom?    So today, I am going to share an easy tutorial on how I do it.  I am also going to share with you how you can get yours the size that you would like.  You can make big pom poms, or small pom poms.  Customize it to your project :) First, cut a piece of cardboard about 4" wide. Next, take your yarn, and wrap it around the cardboard. Slide your yarn off of the cardboard, being careful that it keeps its shape Tie a long piece of yarn tight around the very center of your pom pom.  I like to wrap mine a few times and tie a few knots just to make sure it isn't going to come undone later on. Now, cut all of the loops. Here is your pom pom.  You can leave it like this if you like the messy look, or you can give it a trim so it is nice and even.
